Shooting Stars

As a maiden entry into this line of work, I wished to defy the tradition of the concert photo and produce pictures that would serve as both document and visual manifestos. His theatrical handling of lights coursing through dark blues and purples and reds created the ideal space in which to redefine concert photography as art storytelling. What I produced, on behalf of QBMusica, is distinct from standard event coverage, assuming a crystalline, striking visual vocabulary.
